We are recruiting nurses for two exciting and challenging posts in the Cancer Research UK funded oncology research programme run by the Psychological Medicine and Symptoms Research Group (PMSRG).

Based either in the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre or the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, you will be join a team of nurses delivering SMaRT oncology depression care as part of the SMaRT Oncology Clinical Trials Programme. You will be trained to deliver care according to a treatment manual as part of a randomised controlled trial into better management of depression in cancer patients.

These are posts for experienced, enthusiastic nurses who are keen to learn and able to manage a caseload of patients and who will work to the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice. Experience in clinical trials and working with cancer patients is desirable.

The post is available on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2012
