Salary: £28,289 - £32,796 per annum, pro-rata

The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse with evidence of further qualification/experience specifically related to research.

She/He will work closely with the Research Lead (AUPMC) and his research team on a project (PANDAs) evaluating a patient decision aid for people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in primary care. She/He will undertake the clinical research; safeguards well-being of patients and ensure it is conducted within guidelines for research; provide clinical nursing advice, education and leadership within the research and to act as a source of knowledge and expertise, provide advice for patients, carers and health professionals.

This post is available for two years working 17.5 hours per week.
