This is an exciting and challenging post in the Cancer Research UK funded oncology research programme run by the University of Edinburgh Psychological Medicine and Symptoms Research Group (PMSRG).
Based in the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in Glasgow, you will act as local trial site coordinator for the SMaRT Oncology Clinical Trials Programme which is run from the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre. This includes 2 randomised controlled trials of a complex intervention for cancer patients with Major Depressive Disorder, and a large screening programme for patients within the Beatson Centre.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, enthusiastic nurse who is able to manage and motivate a team and work to the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice. Experience in clinical trials and working with cancer patients is desirable.
The post is available on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2012
