Program Manager ~ Assisted Living

~ A Challenging & Rewarding Position

*Full time Program Manager* ~ Assisted Living is now
required at Wentworth Manor in South West Calgary.

Qualifications Required:
~ Current registration with CARNA.
~ B.Sc.N. degree or approved equivalent.
~ Three to five years experience in Geriatric Nursing.
~ Previous experience in management position an asset.
- Strong team building, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Description of Duties:
~ Responsible for the coordination and monitoring of clinical nursing functions.
Ensures consistency in approach to clinical issues throughout Assisted Living areas
resulting in the safe competent provision of care to residents.
~ Within the scope of this position the Program Manager takes on a key
role to continually provide an environment promoting a culture of resident safety.
~ Coordinates admitting residents to Assisted Living facilities.
- Arrange PEC admissions in full.
- Ensures the provision of comprehensive reviews and clinical documentation.
~ Ensure Quality Improvement programs proceed as planned, and are embraced
and complied with by staff.
